Brenda Dacres
I am a single parent who has lived locally for 30 years. I am active within the community, and have previously been a local primary school governor. Presently I am the PTA Secretary for a Lewisham secondary school. My career is in the I.T industry. I hold a degree in Physical Sciences with Computing, and also a Law degree. I was called to the Bar after completing the Bar Vocational Course in 2006.
I care about supporting our local schools and teachers to give the best education, and develop our children to their fullest potential; improving and increasing affordable housing; engaging our young people and ensuring they have the services they need. I want to work towards improving employment and apprenticeship opportunities locally.

Joe Dromey
I was born and grew up in south east London. After graduating from university, I worked as an employment advisor in welfare to work, helping over 100 long-term unemployed people in Southwark into work. I then worked as a researcher for a Council in East London before joining a charity that works with employers and trade unions to improve the quality of work.
I've lived in Lewisham for three years and I'm active in the community, including serving as a governor at two local schools. I am passionate about tackling unemployment and poverty locally, improving the quality of housing and protecting services for young people.

Cllr Paul Maslin
I was born in Deptford and have lived almost all my life in Lewisham. I have a degree in Economics and after graduating spent a year working in Senegal. I worked in banking for a couple of years before leaving to open an art gallery with my business partner. Hales Gallery has been going now for over 20 years. I am married and have two boys of school age.
I have been a Councillor representing the New Cross and Deptford areas since 1998. I am currently the Cabinet Member for Resources.
I really believe that by working together we can make Lewisham the best place in London to live, work and learn.
